1. FW Water based Foundry Coatings are available in various formulations for resin bonded, sodium silicate-bonded, and green sand moulds etc. and suitable for production of various metal castings.

Using guide
1. Coating density and viscosity should be adjusted by solvent content to match the application method, for water based coating, clean water is used. Over dilution reduces suspension stability and brushing properties of coating.
2. Coating should be mixed thoroughly. In most cases, one brushed application should be sufficient; however, two coats may be needed for larger castings or for specific areas where sand burn-on or metal penetration occurs. After applying the alcohol based coating, it should be ignited immediately, otherwise lite-off and proper burning may become difficult. In case of difficult burning due to excessive penetration, the coating should be baked using a blowtorch. After applying water coating, the mould and core should be baked well.
